Neon Drift Circuit is unapologetically arcadey. Physics take a back seat to fun, and the whole point is to fling your car sideways through neon corners and hold the line as long as you can.
The control options are generous. You can steer by tilting the phone, tapping side buttons, or using a virtual wheel, and we ended up preferring the tilt for the sheer chaos of it. Whatever you choose, the game responds quickly with almost no input lag on our devices.
It looks fantastic, which unfortunately means it drinks battery and warms the phone during longer races. Turning the visual effects down a notch in settings barely hurts the look and buys you a lot more play time.
